The Geforce TI cards are very good cards but they are not DirectX 9 compliant. That's not a big deal yet and as slowly as the D9 standards are being adopted by the game makers who knows when it will be. I bought a ATI 9500 Pro about 7 months ago to replace my TI 4200 because I was worried about not having D9 card. The 4200 is in the kids computer and runs NFSU (D9 game) as well as my 9500 does.
I suckered in by the marketing I guess.
