do u have the "bypass" harness plugged into the amp? or the harness that detaches from the amp. basically uplug the stock speaker harness from the stock amp. plug the new harness into this stock harness then run all the new extra speaker wire to the new hu and match up the connections. if u have the wrong harness maybe its mismatching the connections from harness to harness even though u connected the hard wires correctly on the hu side. once done, u can technically remove the stock amp. if not you've still got something plugged into it
