The one you listed looks like a plug to eliminate the factory amp when utilizing the factory radio?
The bypass cable eliminates the factory amp when using an aftermarket head unit. Hence, you are bypassing the factory amp.
If you have correctly bypassed the amp, you should be able to take it out of the car as nothing should be plugged into it.
