Anyone know where I can get a new/used shaft for the S/C kit? I think that mine just died on me.

No, but last I heard that was like a grand or more... Anyone got one that they aren't using? Ya know, just laying around collecting dust... lol.

Man, I do have one just laying around collecting dust. Unlike the injectors I am willing to loan you I can't loan out the shaft. I'm just afraid that even with the upgraded shaft I have it might break and if it breaks I want it to break on my car. Dang, I really wish this wasn't so. I'll keep my eyes and ears open for one but it doesn't sound like thats going to be a cheap fix. You might want to pm knuconcepts or I have his # if you need it, his machinist may be able to respline the shaft as well as upgrade. the upgrade itself was $275, resplineing and new bearings at the other end and your probably looking at over $500. Still cheaper than a new one i think.

I'm curious, has anyone by chance contacted doug Lewis at Ford Performance Specialist in Douglasvill, GA?? He's SHO S/C kit is the same setup and I don't recall ever hearing about shaft failures on SHOs. I believe their website is www.fordperformancespecialists.com

The upgrade is $275, includes shipping etc. To replace the female end would be in the $500-600 range. That also depends on which shaft you actually have. If it is the same thickness the whole length of the shaft, your looking at the $500. If you have the thinner shaft, your looking at $600, but that includes reinforcing your shaft to be a solid unit, like the latest Vortech revision.
A big cost is the female end. We have to get the end from Vortech, and they dont offer us a discount, so its full retail on that part.
