For Christmas my dad got me 4 Blue Tire valve lights. I mean, it looks pretty cool... Only supposted to work when its dark and in motion, but I dunno about this.. Kinda Ricey. I said "Um, gee. thanks Dad" He said "well if you don't like them I'll put them on the Bronco" My question, are they illegal in TN? I was all excited about the Stereo and speakers, but these tire valve lights... hmmm..

I've seen them all around here in Savannah, although that doesn't really help your case up there in Tennessee. Cops don't appear to do anything about it. The little lights aren't usually bright enough to cause a distraction to other drivers anyway.

I have the red ones on my Tour. Only one military cop ever said anything about them. I think he was just bored that night. He just said they are illegal because they are red. We reminded him the law states you cannot have red or blue lights on the FRONT of your vehicle, nothing about the tires.
NOW, the package DOES state they are for show ONLY and no street use, but as it's been said before, cops usually don't care about the tire flies, just the cyber eyes do they really throw fits over.

I think they're cool. They will be stolen in less than 10 days though.
