1. Buckshot is the one running 245/45/16's

I have 225/50/16 KDW's (wider then a 225 should be?) and the clearance is miniscule. (I'm actually surprised they don't rub under hard cornering!)

2. A stock Duratec engine has more power then most street tires can hold. An SVT definitely. Throw some bolt ons on an SVT and it can over power drag radials. (or more likely the diff )

Traction really is the limiting area.

Now throw in a set of Stage 3 axles, some drag slicks, an LSD, & enough power (I.E. turbo) and you should see 12's. (or break something else )
