We pulled mine trani and all. Make sure you remove the hood for better clearance. We pulled with the trani because we diecided to redo the clutch while we had it out. It wasn't too bad to pull, just needed people around to help guide the engine out and then back in. We put it back in with the trani attached too, so it can be done. Good luck!
