i went to the self wash today, so my car is all squeeky clean...for the next 40 minutes... - best 2 bucks i ever spent though. i was meaning to ask you guys: how often do you guys wash your cars during the winter? i just found a self wash place near my house, so instead of spending 10 bucks for an automated wash, now i can do it myself for spare change...

Tell me about it Dean. It cracks me up too!
Funny part, I never drive the SVT! and I still put up the windshield wipers. I have NEVER driven the SVT while there has been snow on the ground.

It does, however, sit out there when it snows...but only for another month or so.

i know it sounds crazy but 1-2 times a week for me. i hate having a dirty car, it drives me nuts. but in the winter, its kinda hard to avoid that.

dit-ho. I wash almost twice a week. Never go to an automatic though, waste of money.

I got it down:
1. Put in $1.25, rinse, then turn on the foaming brush. Use the brush, let time run out.
2. Finish with the brush, put in another $1.25, and rinse.

The brush almost always holds those suds so well, and now you get your car perfectly clean, by hand, for $2.50. The brush does a great job of ridding the thing of all its salt too. Dont forget to try to spray the underbody during the rinse too. There's a reason why my underbody is in such good shape after 7 years
