I ordered a truck from the local dodge dealer and it came in yesterday. I love it. 2004 Dodge Dakota Sport Club Cab 4x4 4.7L V8 5 spd manual 3.92 gears limited slip differential tow package skid plates Its actually pretty fun to drive. I need to get an exhaust for it to let that V8 sound like it should I'll post pics soon. Simon new- '04 Dodge Dakota 4x4. V8, 5spd FOR SALE Black 98 SVT EO (#2119 of 6535)- SOLD! The reason I ask is because I know first hand the Mopar perf computer really works, well it does on the 5.3L 318 anyways. The first time I ever went down the dragstrip I drove my ex-boss' 93'Dakota. It had the 318 Magnum(220-230 hp), ATX and 3.55 open differential, also a single Flowmaster muffler. My first pass netted a 16.0 @85 mph, so we then installed the Mopar perf computer and I then ran a 15.7 @88 mph, .3/3 mph improvement for $200.00 and less then 5 minutes of install time, not bad IMO. Also I'm sure the computer is calibrated to work even better when you have other mods done, like open element intake and a "real" exhaust system Looking forward to those pics Simon!
