Thanks for the info. The reason I was going to use a NC contact is I didn't know if the secondaries can open just partway, depending on the tach reading and throttle opening. That way the light would show they are open a little whether they open completely or not.
When I replaced my IMRC box the other week I didn't see there being a potential problem with the cable hanging but I'll look at it again. I need to study it some more to see what type of sheet metal bracket to make. Do you have any finished pics of yours?
