OP matthewbounds Member M Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 422 Huntsville, AL	I am in the process of building a new false floor for my 'tour and was wondering if any body has pics of their layout that I could see. My idea is to hide as much as possible while still leaving plenty of room for storage. That is so depressing for me to see, I don't know how you can handle looking at that What was the enclosure made of, fiberglas? dnewma04 Moderator D Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 8,142	I actually made my sub enclosure out of sonotube (cardboard tube) with MDF caps on each end. It ended up raising my entire trunk floor by 3" which just happened to be the same as the height of my amp so it worked out well. I can help you out, but I have never really used glass on anything stereo related so it may be a bit of a learning process for me as well.

The enclosure is made of 2 layers of 3/4" MDF on 4 of the 6 sides. The 2 exceptions are the front which is 1 layer of 3/4" MDF and the back which is 3/4" Plexiglass. The interior of the enclosure is simply exposed MDF that has been sanded. Since I compete under the Street rules of IASCA, there are no points for cosmetic integration.
