I decided on accounting before entering Junior High School (7th grade) because the school system kept cramming down our throats the notion that we have to choose now in order to choose the proper high school classes to better prepare us for college.
I looked at what I was good at (math) and had my mom help me choose a career based on my skills at that point.
from there I chose classes that were offered that related to accounting. I greatly enjoyed my accounting classes in high school, so I decided to stick with that and made that my major for college.

I still enjoy the concepts, but I hate the environment.
i've tried my hand at 3 years of public accounting and am now out of it trying for the private side. if that doesn't work, I'm screwed. I had no plan B ever.

I'm kicking myself for studying so long to have a desk job.
when you're young and have a great metabolism, you dont think of what sitting at a desk for 8 hours with minimal physical activity can do to your body.
flub flub
I shoulda gone into a line of work that required I bust my ass all day instead of using my stupid mind.
