My two pennies
(flame suit on)
Nsx's are Accord v6's with the motor in the trunk.
They have got to be the most over priced sports car ever made. Yea they are nice cars, BUT... Not 90k nice. Id much rather have a contour with a blown 3.0
Hell id be happy to get my tranny back from the shop so i can put it back in the car and drive my contour again(since everyone else has already jacked the thread)

I'm assuming you are wrong, unless Honda tuned another 100 hp out of the Accord engine. Which year Accord? there are different models too.
On a second note, NSXs are great. If you would rather have a Contour than an NSX, I'm sorry, there must be something missing upstairs. The perk in this situation is that Rev has spent a hell of a lot less money on his car than the other guy, and the other guy is a cocky, ignorant bafoon. If I had a choice between a Contour and an NSX, money not being the determining factor, I would gladly take the NSX. As I'm sure mostly every person with a lick of sense would...

A good assumption. He is extremely wrong unless there's a considerable amount of sarcasm we're not catching.

dubkatz -- Might want to consider the following questions for your own edification:

1) Which came first? NSX or Accord V6?

2) Which model year Accord V6 do you suppose they used? V-angle?

Tisk, tisk Harley... If you look at it as a $90,000 car with 290 hp, then yes it seems very overpriced. However, I had a friend in high school with one and after driving it multible times, it seemed like a bargain

IMHO it is one of the best handling cars ever made and probably the most reliable, easiest to maintain exotic there is. Even with its "limited" hp, sub-5 second 0-60 and high 12's low 13's in the 1/4 mi were possible stock. It is the classic example of a car that is much more than the sum of its parts. My .02

And they're beautiful

Good times! We are back on track.
Harley is expressing his opinion and it is his to voice. I both agree and disagree. The NSX was, for years, the premier Honda/Acura. They used all of the technology on it (i.e. V-Tec) on it first and then it trickled down to the latter models. I think that they are a really nice car and Damn 100hp/Litre stock is nice!!! But on the other hand, a "so called" Exotic (I will hit that one next) with only 290-300 hp is weak at best. If they would have thrown a little FI into the mix they may have been knocking on the 400hp+ door and that would be a bit more potent. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful car and outclasses a Contour every day of the week.
The word Exotic is not one I use to describe anything from Japan (except some of the ladies ). I reserve that term for some of the real Supercars from Italy and Germany. Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Some Porsche's are the real exotics and the NSX is a nice copy. It is like our Shelby Cobra. That was an obvious and admitted copy of a Ferrari. Not an Exotic though.

My entire point of this thread is to say that the NSX should beat me. If I lose, I lose nothing. He is foolish for racing me as he will look really bad if I win and I will look like a guy that got beat by an NSX if I lose... I want this video taped and flooded all over the internet if I win. Like the K-Car that beat the Porsche. People will laugh.
