The civic EX was a lease turned in earlier this year...the Si has one lease payment left & I am uncertain as to it's fate ...I kinda like it. No more toys, gotta pay for the homestead...

My first car was a 1975 Chevelle or Malibu Classic, it actually said both. I got the car in December of 1985 but couldn't drive till I turned 16 in 1986. It wasn't called "rice" back then, but heres what I did to it:

-installed N50 series tires on the back w/ 8" Vette rallies
-installed 235/60 tires on the front w/ 7" Monte Carlo rims
-blackened out the front grill
-blackened out the rear section next to the tailights
-added SS emblems, grill and side fenders
-headers with thrush mufflers bolted directly on to them!
-flipped the air cleaner lid (had a 2 barrel )
-painted the frame, rear-end and gas tank white

This cars rear quarters were very rusty, so I sprayed rubberized undercoating on it to "slow down" the process. I also added these little trailer lights to the bottom of th shocks (early neons) Ofcoarse I had stickers on the car, what "DUDE" didn't and the one I really remember was this big Goodyear one on the back window and in true "rice" spirit, I didn't have Goodyears One cool thing the car had was a fuel economy gauge, it would go down to minimum when you hit it, very funny.

1) 1987 Acura Integra -- The original Rust Rocket.
2) 1985 Nissan 300ZX -- The New Rust Rocket ("New" must be capitalized, just like for the New Beetle)
3) 1989 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe -- aka The Big Dog. Five-speed with the big pimpin' burgundy interior! Torque to me baby......
4) 1998 SVT Contour -- silver frost, mindnight blue, best handling car that I have ever owned.
5) ????????.......

I miss the T-Bird and the 300ZX most. I still check for both models on the Trader.ca site on a weekly basis. Either one would be fun as a project. I would have kept the T-Bird as a project had it not been for the burgundy....

I just realized something. Every car I've ever had except one has been white or red. The reds were by choice. The whites (and green) were just what was available. Weird.

1st car - 74 Mustang II (no pics) - handed down to me in '78 (white)
2nd car - 74 Plymouth Satellite (no pics) - Dad purchased in '78 (green)
3rd car - 79 Pontiac Grand Prix (no pics) - HS Graduation present in '81 (white)

4th car - 88 Acura Integra - purchased by me new in '88



5th Car - 98 Ford ZX2 - purchased new in '98



6th Car - 99 Ford Contour - purchased new in '99



7th Car - 01 Ford F150 SuperCrew (no pics) - purchased new in 2000 - Family truckster (white)

1992 Plymouth Voyager SE, 3.3L, short wheelbase.
Baby blue with steel wheels and rust along the bottom.
Took it over from my parents at 169,000 miles and drove it until 203,000 miles. Thing was a tank!! Engine never failed to start even after not having the oil changed for a yr and sitting for 3 months Finally got rid of it when I got my SVT it had an internal coolant leak among other problems and we donated it to charity.

My first car was a 1990 Buick LeSabre Custom... a real peice. I'll try and find a picture but that will be a tough find. My "new" car is a 1995 Contour GL... my baby (this is a picture right before I got her last year)

I don't have any pics of mine scanned in, unfortunately. I learned on my mother's 2000 Taurus duratec wagon, but my parents told me that I would pay for everyone's insurance if I drove, so it was time to buy a car, since they weren't going to help.

1. 1989 Acura Integra (5/01-9/01) loved it to bits, but needed 2500 in repairs - time for a new car.
2. 1986 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon (9/01-12/01) fun, but the turbo blew as well as other things.
3. 1989 Mercury Sable GS sedan (12/01-2/02) transmission blew, swore I'd never buy another ford product
4. 1990 Volvo 740GL Wagon (2/02-7/02)- non turbo, non fun
5. 1994 Saturn SC2 (7/02-8/27/02) great car, lost at the hands of a drunk driver
6. 1999 Hyundai Accent (10 days in September 02) - lost my driver's license due to an epileptic seizure that resulted from the accident
7. 1988 BMW 535i sedan (3/03-7/03) - wonderful fun, the best car I could have had when getting my license back
8. 1999 Ford Contour SE Sport (7/03-present) the low mileage wonder that I am frightened by the miles I put on it.
