1971 Porsche 914 - still have it and am slowly updating it. My first serious car that I put serious miles on is my SVT.

Sweet ride! Love the old stuff. My first car was a 78 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, bought when I was 15. Soon followed by a lovely brown 78 Eldorado, then a 76 Sedan DeVille (best one of em all) and then a 75 Eldorado Convertible I still have. Few other cars scattered in there as well. I miss the Sedan DeVille though, drove that yacht for over 3 years and all it needed was a heater core and some air lines for the rear shocks, till it got sandwiched.

I wish I had a picture of my first.
1981 Mercury Cougar w/302 and ATX. And it was a four door.
It was a hand me down from my folks and I sold it for $400 with close to 200K miles on it. My second car? A 1995 Green Contour GL Zetec&MTX. I replaced that one with a used 1996 SE Duratec & ATX that I only had for 6 months before I had to give it back due to finiacial problems. Followed the 96 up with a 83 Rabbit GTI I picked up $300, and then later a 91 Civic Si that lasted until fall of last year when it crapped out for the second time. I have had the 2000 SE Sport since Sept 11, 2002. I purchased it with 49K, and now I am almost over 88K.
The best thing about driving a Contour again is not looking at all the 'tours driving around and wishing I had one again.

My first car was a 1971 Chevy LUV (Light Utility Vehicle). It had a manual transmission, 4:1 gears, and shifted all 4 gears by 27mph. I think it topped out somewhere around 75-80mph. It took almost 20 seconds to go from 0-60

1975 Ford F250 Camper special. Had a flat bed too replace the rusted out bed. And a 460 outta a Lincoln Contenintal. It was 2 wheel drive and had no axle weight at all. I left my mark every where without trying. Then i just sat there and spun my tires in the winter. i did do a good lawn job at school once with it

when i was 16 my dad taught me to drive on a 91 taurus wagon, had the 3.0 vulcan
well the sensor that turns the fans on failed, while in HORRIBLE traffic, car overheats, ran like crap after that, probably warped the heads
then i drove my moms 99 escort for a while, till she traded it in for her 99 blazer fullsize
so then my dad bought me a 91 buick skylark(i was 17 then) , 4 cyl, was SOOOO SLOW
i drove that for a while, beat the hell out of it, needed like 1K of work to get it to pass inspection! this is about a week after i graduated HS. my dad refuses to get the car fixed, we go and buy my contour, i spent alot of my grad money and the parents helped with the rest.
drove the tour for over a year, then garaged it to do a 3L swap, drove the blazer for 3 months.
tour is reborn with a 3L, and just last week i got my beater, 87 bronco 2 with a blown head gasket, for free!
im working on the bronco now
