At least $1500 is what Ford wanted. About a $1000 for parts including the wheel and $500 for labor. Ouch. I couldnt claim it on insurance for personal reasons so I ended up fixing it myself for about $120 not including the wheel and tire. The wheel is much worse than it looks in the picture and is missing large chunks around the spokes. Luckily the strut wasnt bent enough that I needed to put the new one on so I sent it back. I got a new knuckle from a Cougar out at Transwest for 59.00 dollars and the control arm I got new from Ford for 50.00. A dropped subframe and a few dollars in bolts later I had myself a fixed car. Dropping the subframe is a b|tch though. But now I got some Cougar blood in my poor little car. Still not sure what im going to do about the wheel. Maybe find someone who wants to buy the other 3 and start all over. Well see when summer comes. Speed plus incredibly sharp turns comming off a hill dont mix with wet roads. The road was so slippery we had a hard time keeping a jack under it while we tried to put a new tire on to get it home. The front bumper still has some damage but I keep running into things with my car being as low as it is anyways. Someday there will be nothing left of it.
