BZZZZT! Wrong answer! First of all there is no way to retain the Reverse L/O option on a ghetto.. I mean cut shifter. Second, the B+M is a straight shifter not a bent shifter. It is not as comfortable when cut, IMO. Third point, the pivot is plastic on the stockie and really sucks in comparison to the B+M. Sorry, but I don't like the cut shifter... Cheap or no.
(My response is all in fun, BTW, as I have had this debate with many "frugal" people in the past)
