Or you can use the Focus SVT "smart" pump rated at 255lph. The only part that is utilized in our cars is the actual pump, but you do get the entire kit: sender, pump, basket etc. for around $80.

This pump is being used by several of us and some heavily modded Mustangs.

The part#is: 3s4z-9h307-bc

Where can you buy a new pump at for $100? The cheapest i have found for my '99svt is like $218.

BAT sells just the pump without the housing for under 100$.

Hey Jason thanks for the tip, thats exactly what im looking for. I didnt want to spend 200 and not have it solve my problem but for 100 ill give it a shot.

That part number listed above lists for $115 from any Ford dealer.

FordPartsNetwork shows it for $74.99. Give Torrie an email. Otherwise, try Bill Jenkins.

ok guys, so is this pump really gaurnteed to work with the contour? i was looking into getting the walbro 255iph. Which would be easiest to install with no problems at the end? i have a 95 se contour

I don't know anything about the focus pump other than its made by ford and that I've never heard of a Walbro pump failing.
