Ok, where'd you find them?!? I want. Have you had enough time to know if they burn out just as fast as regular 893's yet?
Advanced Auto has them, and Auto Zone should, also. If not, they should at least be able to order them for you. I had a set of Eurolite's that matched my Silverstar headlights perfectly, but I sold them because I just wanted the Silverstar fogs. There are Eurolites on Ebay quite frequently. Search under "893" if you want the stock wattage or "885" for the 50 watt bulbs. Just be careful that you don't buy some cheap no-name "rice" bulbs that actually put out more than our cars can handle. Personally, I'd never go higher than 50 watts for fogs. Also, I've had good luck with my Silverstar headlights so far (had them for a year now) but they claim they don't last AS long as our cheap stock bulbs. To me it was WELL worth it. It's when you switch to the Silverstars that you realize just how "yellow" our stock lights are.

Are the silverstar Fogs 37.5 or 50 watt? And did you go online to get them? Oh and part number?
Thanks

ditto. I've been running the SilverStars in my headlights for about 18 months now. LOVE EM! I found a set of Nokya 893 bulbs for the fogs that match up nearly perfectly, but I've been somewhat unhappy with the quality. It seems quite often that I find one of the bulbs isn't as bright as the other and stuff. Since I've had such good luck with my SilverStart headlights, I think I'll give the 893 bulbs a try.

They keep the stock wattage to prevent overheating, but they shine like 50 watts. Some people haven't had problems with 50w bulbs, but others have. Go to www.sylvania.com and you'll find all the specs and part numbers on there. I'm not sure of the numbers anymore. I got mine at Advanced Auto. They had to be ordered, though.

I'm on my second set of Silver Star Fogs now and they are dead! Got them at Checker and the folks there were nice enough to give me replacements when they died the first time. Stopped back by today and they said to call Sylvainia and to see what they would do. If Sylvainia won't help out they said they will. I've got the headlights and I love them and the fogs are great while they work! Anyone else having probs with these bulbs? Mine last about 3 weeks. There aren't any cracks in the fog lenses and I don't touch the bulb glass. So, I don't know why they are dying. The only things I've noticed about the dead bulbs is the silver coating on the end of the bulb is bubbled and the filiment is still in tact...kinda weired. Maybe they run so hot they burn up? Thanks for any help!
