so i noticed the search function isn't working.. would anyone know off hand the part number for the aftermarket bulbs that were from walmart, etc? the one's people said sometimes burnt their lenses... any help would be appreciated muchly..  thank you

883 or 885 are the numbers i believe...could b wrong and dont remember which one is stock bulb
99 expedition eddie bauer, 5.4 v8, k&n drop-in, 3" magnaflow catback and gas mileage that makes the contour look like a hybrid

893 is stock (37.5 watts? I believe). 885's are 50 watts, but they also fit. The new Sylvania Silverstars are REAL nice, crystal clear white xenon-look bulbs, but at triple the cost of regular bulbs.

Speaking of Fog Lights, is it possible to install them into my contour? (They wernt equipped before) Yet the headlamp switch pulls out, and I see some wires which I believe they goto a fog light under the car, near the bumper.

Well if your swtich pulls out and pre-wired, they really should work.

Post 98's only need a switch, relay and the lenses. But it's a PITA. I did it!

Alright! now i need the fog lamps, Fog lamps would look sweet on my 95 Contour! =D

Ok, where'd you find them?!? I want. Have you had enough time to know if they burn out just as fast as regular 893's yet?

Well, I tried usin a Voltmeter to see if the foglights were active, that failed, so I guess my Contour isnt foglight ready....
