Noise from front end

I have this intermittent noise that sounds like it is coming from the front driver's side tire...kinda like a blub blub blub noise...only when I am going straight..not turning....any suggestions what to look at first? thanks

put the spare on and see if the noise goes away.. it is possible that one of the bands in the tire broke or is pulling and it is waht it called a BALL or EGG in the tire and sometimes you cant see it, even after taking the tire off the car... i had one where the band was inside the tire doing this and it made a noise...

A noise that goes away when you steer to the right or left can be caused by a defective wheel bearing. Blub Blub doesn't sound like a wheel bearing though. It is normally more like a low pitched moan. As dbird says, it could be a tire. Is the frequency of the 'blub' about once per tire revolution? Does the frequency change as you increase speed?

No...it isn't with the rotation with the tire...sounds like something more front end...but is isn't a moan...it only does this sound when I am just driving straight...no sounds when I turn...and I notice it more when I have been driving around a lot....maybe its just me.... sorry I can't be more specific on the sound....that's the best way I can describe it....

A lot of front end suspension components can make a noise. Struts, strut mounts, ball joints, control arms, end-links, sway bars......basically anything that moves can clunk, rattle, and squeak. Have you tried getting underneath the car and checking for loose or worn parts in the suspension?
