I just finished up getting my moosing corrected. I've got a '00 SVT with a K&N filter in the stock housing. My moosing started a few weeks ago growing louder and occuring more often. I also had a coupel stalls. I have an extended warranty so I took it back to the dealer. They checked fuel pressure (?) and codes in the computer. Then they did a road test and did not hear the noise. I drove it with the service writer and didn't hear it either. I wondered if they'd done more then what they admitted to but figured if the noise was gone, OK by me. Within a day the moosing was back. I took it back to the dealer the nite before, then went up in the morning and started it up with the shop foreman present. It made the noise and he started feeling around under the hood squeezing hoses. He got the noise to stop and announced it was the IAC. They replaced it and it's gone.

It'd think chnaging the lenght of hoses may disguise the noise but to fix it it's the IAC.
