I know the feeling !!! I have the EXACT same problem with my 2000 CSVT I just bought. I purchased a new IAC from O'Reilly's today and plan to install tomorrow($48.00). I'll let you know if the Moose in rut are still try to hump my car when I'm done. What was really embarrassing was late one night when it was cold out (and I had a few) and was on the way home. While at the stoplight, a state trooper is next to me. I am trying to act cool, and my car begins to emit a foghorn sound so loud that I sound like a freighter lost in the fog at sea! I thought the trooper was going to fall out of his patrol car he was laughing so hard.
