WTF?! Are you joking? What mods do you have done? Hopefully a turbo....Unless the GT driver was racing Jim Abbott style.... Only way i'm believing this is if you are HEAVILY modded or turbo'd.

w3rd...no way in hell he beat an 03 gt,unless the gt missed some shifys...

He failed to mention the GT was headed in the other direction.

Sorry to disapoint you but I'm really not the type of guy to come on here just to lie for whatever reason I feel like guys. I know how to drive and that guy was at the total opposite end of that spectrum. Shifted very slow and for all I could tell was'nt even running to the redline. I yanked almost 2 cars just off the line. And if this distortion had anything to do with it Probably was'nt a full car. His bumper was probably right at the back of my real wheel. And no my go mods are almost limited to nothing.

Not saying you're lying on purpose, well at least I'm not, but to say you actually were ahead of a 14.0 second car in your 15.4 second car is a little out there and very unbelievable....

Understandable. You can imagine my shock. Was'nt trying to brag with the story whatsoever. Just making a point about driver's affects on cars. It was a sad thing.

Sounds like a mis-badged V6 to me.

I know without trying those damn Stang GT's are fast off the line. I went to the track back in Sep, Oct,and Nov and ran into nothing but GT's from stock to heavily modded, and was handed my !@#%&* every time. With that said there was an older guy that had a nice red 02 and he was runin' 15.4, 15.7, 16, simply because he admitted he didn't know how to drive it, but just wanted to try out his recently purchased machine. Now illegal street racing with curves and a straight away and then more curves, and so on we may be a car length. I wonder why some of the GT's have that deep wonderful sound and some don't? Nice cars though!
