OK, been a few months now. Has anybody followed up with this potentially VERY NICE power/sound adding mod?? I'd really like to see you Zetec guys get in on the fun!

I still don't think those have been released yet...

I think you'd see the custom cougar ones out before the zxtuner ones.

Custom Cougars header

a lil off topic in some parts so you'll have to read through.

OK, so the Focus SVT header won't fit, or at least not without mods, & there are 50 sets of headers for the Cougar that were supposedly made in May that still have not hit the market.

Somebody get me some pictures of your Zetec Contour. I'm gonna compare them to my ZX2 to see if I can find any obvious conflicts.
1. Looking down into the engine bay just above the headers
2. Looking under the car, from the front bumper straight back to the flex pipe.

I'm gonna find out once & for all if the ZXtuner 4-2-1 headers will fit the Contour. Some of you guys may have to add an EGR bung, but that'll cost a whopping $30 or so to have a shop do that. If you wanna be totally leagal, you can even add a cat AFTER the flex pipe like for the V-6. Extending the wiring for the O2 sensor should cost next to nothing if you're handy enough to use a $7 soldering iron.

Did you get the time to check this out? Really interested in the results since I need a new manifold anyway.
