I just went to a Kustom's shop today for some exhaust work. While being there I talked to the owner about making a turbo for the car. While in the discussion we also talked about headers. We worked out a price. Now remember this are not street legal and therfore will not pass smog. They are going to be strictly for racing and improving speed times. The price I worked out was $600 a set. Any takers?????

Well... When I talked to my neighbors www.mufflex-performance.com, they came up with the same figure, $600... Sounds real. Need more details though...

what do headers do?
Just like everyone tries to open up and upgrade their exhaust, it begins with headers. Our stock manifold is very restrictive and headers give us more air flow through the exhaust which usually gives more power.

CTA + header + big pipes = very loud

Yeah....I gained 10HP peak and between 5600-6500 I gained 13HP and 19TQ from dyno without header and dyno with. That is with the 4-1 race header.

You dern Zetecers and your one header with no pre-cat!! At least you don't have pre-cats in your exhaust manifolds like on a Duratec. Not cool, and I can't afford the $600 MSDS headers. That's right, header s; plural, you don't have but one header on the Zetec. If you're interested in headers, what are you going to do with the extra pipes? LMAO!!
