well after asking everyone in the world I think I found someone that will help me with my tranny. The sychros are shot and so is the flywheel. So here is my question a bunch of people said its easier to pull the motor than the tranny. And since I am doing headers also I thought it kinda made sense. Well my question is with my motor pulled can I get to the tranny to replace all that I need to. (flywheel, clutch, sychros and all other seals that are needed.) Thanks in advance, car in sig if your have questions.

If you're pulling it out the top or even lowering the subframe.......yes. You are removing the trans along with the engine, right?
(I had to ask, sometimes you never can tell what people would try to pull off. )

ok really I have no idea how to do this. SO when I pull the motor. Should I or do I have to pull the tranny at the same time? I didnt know if you could just pull the motor and not the tranny. If you cant then why does everyone say pulling the motor is easier than the tranny. Please edumacate me!!

Pulled Two Contour Motors from the Top It's not that hard. The motor and transmission comes Out as One. I pulled it from the top since I have no lift. I brought an engine Hoist for $240 with free shipping I think it's well worth it then renting one you can take your time with It. I think the hardest Part Is pulling the axles out of the transmission. You can do the flywheel And Clutch yourself The Syncros and Quaife "recommended" you can go to any tranny shop to do that work. Any questions just PM me I can guide you a little. You are also going to need a Fuel line disconnecting tool and a clutch align tool that's the only special tools you need.If you are going to upgrade the Shifting tower let me know I have a brand new one

when i removed my engine and tranny, i pulled the engine by itself, i unbolted it from the trans

after that it was easy to pull the trans out the top with no engine in the way

i wasnt sure i could pull them as 1, because i have an atx, and its alot bigger than the mtx

it is much easier i think too drop the subframe out from the car than taking the motor out all together it saves time with disconnecting a lot of hard to reach wiring harnesses and hoses. when i did my trans all i did was put the front of the car on jack stands disconnect the power steering from the top (it is much easier to disconnect there), take of the y pipe and primary cat, take off front and rear trans mounts, take off calipers and rotors, pull half shafts, then drop the subframe. the motor will hang there from the 2 other motor and trans mouts that connect to the wheel wells. i then put a jack under the motor with a block of wood on it (so not to dent the oil pan) to support everything while i was taking off the driver side trans mount that attaches to the wheel well. after all of that i could then lower the motor subsantially down enough to pull the trans without messing up any hoses our wiring harnesses in the process. please note here while doing all of this you have plenty of room to get at the exhaust manifolds to replace them with your msds headers.

i hope this answers a lot of your questions. oh and by the way this is defiantley a weekend job and not some mid afternoon quick pull lol.

well I know this isnt a fast job but I cant do it on my own and I really dont own the tools needs. So I've decided to give the SVT back to the bank and default on the loan. I cant find any shop that doesnt want 1,300 to do it and being a college student I dont have that kind of money. So I know now to look at how hard up keep is on a car before I buy it. I'll miss her

HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THE CAR BEFORE YOU DEFAULT ON THE LOAN IT MITE BE BETTER JUST TO TRY AND SELL IT INSTEAD OF RUINING YOUR CREDIT LIKE SOMETHING FEIRCE
