Alright, this question doesn't involve my contour but it does involve my other Ford, my mustang. It has a recall on the ignition switch. At the time I didn't know what the problem was, so I took it to a local shop. They took it apart and found the problem, the ignition switch. Because they had it apart I told them to go ahead and fix it. The shop told me that if I go to Ford and told them the situation I was in they MIGHT cover the bill. So am I dreaming or do I have a chance?
