For future reference, Murray's carrys the Prestone Brand Water Pump for our cars, and it's a Metal one. We put one in Chuck's car two weekends ago. $65 + tax.

Well since John hasn't posted yet I will.
He did get the metal impeller prestone unit from Murray's. He found that on Sat.
The problem wasn't the impeller though. The stock plastic one was actually fine. The cone on the other half actually was detached. It looks like whatever bonds the cone to the casing broke free. I told him to glue that baby back together but he's probably going to replace the whole thing.
I'll let him add anything other pertinent info.

everything that derek has typed is accurate. thanks sir. i found the metal impeller pump, but the other half is the problem. i dunno wether i should find a way to bond that cone back in there or just get a whole new unit. i think ill ask the master himself today. but yeah, roger, the heater worked awesomely. i was workin in a long sleeve shirt in the garage with being completly comfortable the whole time. thanks again. ill let you guys know what i end up doin.

Just get a new one and be done with it I say.

well i want to use the metal impeller pump so im gonna have terry re-stake the cone in there for me. i think ill be pickin up some endlinks for my swaybar from him too. gotta wait til next week to make the trip out to GR tho.

John, you gotta trailer that car out there again, wheres the frequent flyer miles  Terry has to take care of this or can someone locally do it? I guess its good that your sending so much work out there, maybe now he'll believe in the CEG a bit more
