OK, OK, I'll admit....I own a Bose system. I have the 301 IV (I think), the center channel and two surrounds. But let me explain. I got the 301s at Best Buy; they had them marked for $150 a pair when it should have said $150 a piece, only sold in pairs. They are not THAT bad for $150 bucks brand new. Same with the suurounds but at Circuit City; got em for $35 should have been $70. The center was a gift. The center and the surrounds suck. Went to local high end dealer and heard DynAudio speakers........Jaw Hit Floor! The 301s might make decent surrounds during future upgrades!
