Yea well what about the theory that in order to really hear or feel a bass note the distance the ears should be from the driver reproducing the bass frequencies should be equal to the length of the note being reproduced. Within the contour the longest line in the passenger cabin is eight feet. Now you guys are probably talking about standing outside of the contour listening to music being played from within the contour.

What is the listening position the mic is in during the high spl contests, in the car or outside of the car, where passengers would normally hear the music? Just curious.
