Like todras said very little. One of his biggest cost was probably the tuning time for the chip. And yes the zetec can handle that 200hp without problems. Now imagine if that guy (seawulf) had $4500 to spend, I'm sure he could build the engine up a little (block is already solid enough for almost any street setup) and upgrade the turbo, fuel system, and more tuning and really show those VW swappers how to spend $4500. Sure it's interesting that they can do that swap, but it's pointless when you already can install a 302, supercharged 4.6L cobra engine, a 2.5L or 3L duratec, or buy a 2.3L PZEV or 2L zetec stock focus and mod the engine it comes with. I think just about any of these choices are better than the VW engine, except maybe the duratecs.
