I do not believe in a deadly silent cabin for there is the need to hear the outside world to keep one from sleeping on those long drives or from being alerting by an approaching vehicle.
When I get a chance to try to fit the enclosure I built to make sure it works, I can give you dimensions of the enclosure if you want to build one. Or if you wanted me to, I could build you a box and send it to you for a minimal cost (compared to a q-logic enclosure) but you may need to brace your rear deck and dampen it.
As far as the door goes, no matter how well you sound deaden your car, contours have too much wind noise to allow you to fall asleep. Unless you are narcoleptic like me. If I were going to prepare a door for minimal cost, I would completely line both the outer door skin and the inner door skin with dynamat.
