I too believe in America and American engines, but that being said, its a pretty known thing that the 1.8T is stout engine, not some POS, thats a bit "extreme" don't you think The site says the motor, probably the 225hp version, is capable of handling 300-400hp w/o changing engine internals and engine management, thats pretty good in my book, or anyones for that matter. I do agree with Baco, I believe it was him, to a point, who said something about buying a Focus w/ VW motor installed in it. I mean its not for everyone but that install looks to be pretty clean and the right person who can ID a quality swap would scoop it up in a minute.
