What happened there Chris Its not that I believe your bad experience but I've been there a couple times for minor maintence things/recalls and have been treated very well
Here is a part of the story.. Names have been changed..
I first went to this dealership on 11/7/03 (Friday) with the intent to purchase the vehicle. After discussing with a sales person my credit application had been held for processing as it was late Friday evening. I was told by the salesman to drop in on Saturday as I was unavailable due to meetings on Monday. When I arrived Saturday morning, I was informed that he did not work on Saturday and that the sales manager would assist me. After sitting around for about an hour so that the paperwork could be found I completed the transaction after about 3½ hrs on Saturday.
Through this process I had a friend doing all the work for me as I have just assumed another position and have been extremely busy. The salesman called my freind on Monday 11/10/03 and called him a liar, saying he never told us to come in on Saturday. This comment had me extremely irritated as my freind was just doing his best to help me out, and for him to be called a liar really got me going. Keep in mind my salesman never called me directly regarding this. After my freind told me about his conversation, I went back to the dealership to speak to a sales manager on 11/15/03 (again, I am extremely busy and Saturday is the only day I have some time).
When I went back to Jerome Duncan on 11/15/03 I was handled by a Sales Manager, who documented my concerns and said he would take them to his boss to see what could be done. I left the dealership feeling better and hoped this would be handled in the correct manner.
I received a call from the sales manager this morning (11/20/03) communicating that because I bought the vehicle at A/Z/D/X plan nothing could be done. All I was asking for to make up for being called a liar as well as my time at the time of purchase (11/8/03) as well as the return visit (11/15/03), was a bra for the Focus for the winter time. What this is telling me is that a customer can be treated like complete trash if that person happens to purchase the vehicle at A/Z/D/X plan pricing. Not exactly the type of service that an employee of the company should get.
Sorry for the long post, but had to back up my claim..
