Ok guys....this one may be the one. Its a 1992 Corvette LT1 coupe with six speed, electronic climate control, bose gold sound system, and black leather 8 way adjustible sport seats. Oh and it only has 50,000 miles!!! Haven't started negotiating yet, but I can probably get it for around $15k. What do you think? If the contour doesn't sell in the next week or so, I may just trade it in on this. Insurance will be a whopping $6 more dollars a month than my SVT. I tried looking into a '95 or '96 but the insurance was about $80 more a month than what I'm paying now. That's why I am SO attracted to this '92. I may go for it, but thought I'd open it up for a little devil's advocacy or encouragement.

SWEET! I'd go for it but it is a little impractical. I love corvettes, that one looks good. Sounds like a good price and low mileage for that year.

MMMMMMMMM Vette

Not much for the color, but other than that, that sounds like a pretty good deal. 5000 miles a year, that was someone's garage queen!

And also, there's no catchy name for it. Mean Maroon just doesn't work. laugh

Seriously though, looks like a cream puff.

It looks way newer than 10 years old! If you like Vettes, get it.

My dad and I have owned a 1986 Corvette for about 5 years and he has 4 friends that have corvette's. We love to go out and race around with his friends and I love to just go find races in it! Don't get me wrong they are really really really fun to drive and race around in! But Corvettes especially older ones will always require money. So my thought on this is don't be expecting to never fix your 350. Have fun with your vette if you go with it!
peace smile

Well, I have emailed the dealer several times today. Totally shot my work day. Anyway, I found out a lot more about the car.

1. It may need new rear tires in about 5000 miles (ouch...$200 a piece)

2. The factory CD player is malfunctioning. I expected that since it is a 1992 model.

I am not getting too excited because I don't know if I can receive acceptible financial arrangements. Its hard to find a lender that will go 48 to 60 mo. on a 10 year old car with someone who is only 24 and still shouldering college debt. They'll probably want some crazy 15% interest rate or something.
