Anyone know of some good online sites to find cheap hotel reservations??? Not travelling until Feb. and am only staying for one night, a Wed. Tried priceline.com and all of those but I want to know where I'm staying before I drop the dough. Any suggestions???

Where ya going? How cheap you wanna stay? Check Motel6.com...they have over 600 newly remodeled hotels; most costing around $30!

Hotwire all the way. I stayed in Raleigh recently and got an $80 room for $35 after taxes. Very nice hotel. Definetly better that Motel 6. They do make you pay for it before you find out which hotel it is though. But, I figured they wouldn't have stayed in business this long of they used crackhead motels.

What you gotta do is make the hotel mess up or something. We gotta cheaper and nicer room once when a hotel overbooked and had to get us a room in another hotel and got the other hotel to give it to us cheaper than it would have been and it was a cleaner hotel. Another time, me and friend went to get our room and they said half the lights were broke in the room (not a big deal to us, plenty of light especially just in a room u'r sleepin in) and took the price down $20.
