Here is a link to the big jump that was in Georgia last June. Don't worry the car was a total basket case and was about to go to the crusher, at least it went out in style!!

http://209.43.123.28/jump.zip

I think you have to save it to be able to watch it. So just right click on the link and save it and then watch it.

They had a snippet on that in SCC a few months back. It cost the guy over $25K to do, and he was happy because "I got to see the General fly...."

At least they could of used a [censored] caprice or something!

I see this too much , its just a car. Anyway the first post said it was headed for a not so bright future anyway.

I never jumped my car but I did let some chick drive my car once and she curbed it doing 55km and the car did get airborn (the curb was about half a foot high :cry) lets just say that my wheel bearings were shot, 1 bent rim and 2 blown tires and nice dent in my wallet . My lesson learned A BLONDES WILL NEVER DRIVE MY CAR AGAIN.

Well there is no short in these cars you just have to find them. They only made around 200,000 of them in 68 and 69 so there has to be at least half or a little less than half left. I would rather see it do that, than get cut up and used as a race car. That car sold for more than some of your cars are worth and it was totaled. I was there and it was about the greatest day of my life, how many times can you say that you saw the General Lee fly 25 years after the show started. The car had 5 gallons of bondo in it. It really didn't even come close to hitting the crowd, they had other cars there to knock the car away from the crowd, so they weren't in danger at all but we were all ready to run just in case.

As far as the reunion show goes I have both on tape and if you would want a copy I can make you one just pm me and I will hook you up.
