hehehe, I will need an alignment though afterwards correct? I had an alignment done about a month ago and I don't know if it was like that when it was done, but my car wasn't vibrating then...If I don't need one, I'll just do it myself. How hard is it to re-align the eccentric head when putting it back on? Since that is what controls the toe setting, I just need that right and I shouldn't need to get an alignment afterwards, correct?

Easy job. You won't need an alignment cause you're not moving the rear subframe at all.

If there are any eccentrics involved mark their positions with a scratch-all in at least two spots, that way they can be repositioned when reassembling.

If your alignment was correct before you bent the arm, and if you didn't knock anything out of alignment when you bent the arm, and if the new arm is exactly the same length as the old arm, and if you put the cam shaped washer back in exactly the same position it was in before, then you won't need an alignment.

Does anybody have the torque settings for the bolts that hold on the rear control (track) arm (the thinner, rear one)?

I am replacing two now. Noticed alignment was off after having rear bumper painted last fall. Figured I would leave it until I replaced the tires. Was in getting new tires and an alignment when they showed me that both rear control arms were bent. I think the body guy must have jacked up on them, I don't see how they could have bent otherwise, and I haven't hit any curbs or holes.

One of the washers was cracked and broken, $42 CDN from Ford, for a damn washer.

Thanks.
