Okay, I have a 99 SE Sport Automatic - 75k. On the interstate I got up behind a Jeep, turned on the blinker to pass, once I got in the other lane and went to accelerate it wouldn't go forward. The RPM redlined - it was like I was in no gear at all. I let up all the way, and then gradually gassed it, and then no problems at all. when I got home I checked the transmission fluid and at first try it said it was low, so I tried it again and then it was normal levels. Any ideas? I have always complained about my overdrive - I seem to like to drive at the speed where it can't decide if it wants to be in overdrive or not. Also sometimes, not always, it viberates when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Could all these things be related? An indecisive overdrive is one thing, not being in gear on the interstate is entirely another. Other than being rear ended two months ago (fixed with no problems) this car has *never* had a repair done to it. Major OR Minor. Thanks
