Everyone has the right to NOT get a flu shot if they so desire. As for myself, I never got a flu shot for years. If I got sick, I usually got through it pretty quickly, no biggie. Then in January 2000, I got the flu and it turned to bronchitis, took me out for a week. Sickest I've ever been (or that I can remember, anyways). Now I always get a flu shot. It helps that the company I work for pays for it, but I would get one anyways. I sometimes feel a little crappy for a day afterwards, but I never get the full blown flu from getting the shot.

the media is a little more right about this one, i am presently looking at it firsthand everyday at work, this is what i do for a living, and this year it is becoming very serious business....
