can't get full out flu from the flu shot, that's a misnomer. You will feel some slight symptomology, that's it. So you'll experience a headache, or soreness. Nothing more. If you get the flu shot and get the flu after that, that means you contracted the flu and it happened to coincide with the development of influenza.

By getting the shot, you are providing your immune system with a repertory of the difference strains of the influenza virus, so when a pandemic DOES start, which it will, you will be able to develop antibodies to THAT specific strain faster since your system has been pretreated before and can rapidly create the necessary antibodies. . ..
