Not-so-much. So much has to do w/ the launch it isn't even funny. I'll freely admit I can't launch for crap, and probably don't have the quickest shifts in the world. A better driver can make up for the HP differences we're looking at here (what - 30 HP or so?).
Note the difference in traps. That's the only indication my car is (was) putting down the extra power it had.
