I think it was the Dtroit Auto Show, they showed off an 05 Lightning with a 6speed. I think...
I have also read it in various magazines (Motor Trend...etc)

Yes they had a prototype with the 6speed,, but there isn't even a 05 lightning. And from what I heard the 6speed was just for the prototype and so far isn't planned to be offered for production lightnings.

The Ford GT has a modified version of the existing 5.4 Triton. So you could say it's the other way around.
It is also unlikely that a 500 hp engine in the GT will own the 500 hp V-10 Viper either.

The GT 5.4L is not a modified Triton, it is a completely new engine that remains in the MOD family so it shares the same bore & stroke as the conventional 5.4L Triton... Aside from that the engine is completely different all the way down to the oil passages within the aluminum block.
The SRT-10 weighs roughly 5200lbs w/ 500bhp & 525ft-lbs, tests currently put it running 13.89sec in 1/4 mile.
The current Lighting weights 4650lbs w/ 380bhp & 450ft-lbs, and has consistantly ran 13.80's in many magazine tests.
Dodge doesn't have an official tow rating for the SRT-10 either, infact they recommend not towing with it. The Lighting has a 1350lb payload capacity and a 5000lb towing capacity making it a usable truck, not just a psuedo sports car with a 6ft bed...

Internet (dodgeram.org, www.pickuptruck.com and www.fitzmotorsports.com) says you are off by 200 lbs and almost a full second - granted these could be pre-production estimates.

Believable facts, but I'm more than sure those .92 g/69 mph slalom times are a little optimistic. Bigger wheels doesn't directly translate to better handling.
On a side note, I think the .92 g figure I've seen running around for the SVT Contours is a little exaggerated too.

Faster slalom speeds than a Ferrari 355 seems unlikely with a 5000 lb truck.
