dont know what expound means but i assume u want more info on the adapter. Basically its a small peice of plastic that screws into the stock speaker spot. This plastic peice has a hole in it that was designed for 6.5inch speakers. I got it on ebay and with shipping it was $6 for 2 of them. I beleive they can be got on
