Well, it's not actually my sub box, but the shelf that is holding the sub box. If anybody has carpeted their box or anything, could you give me some tips? Where to get carpet? Any special tricks? Etc. Aaron

I've never done it. But, you can get carpet at a lot of places, Parts Express has some as well as the spray adhesive you'll need. Maybe some staples to hold it stretched until the adhesive dries as I don't know how long it takes to dry.

I just bought the cheapest carpet that they sold at Home Depot and some 3M spray adhesive. It didn't come out looking too pretty, but one side is acceptable, so that's the side that faces outwards when you look at it in the trunk.
I sprayed the carpet and MDF, stuck the carpet on, held it there for a minute or two, then let it set for another 10 minutes or so, and it was good to go. Since I wasn't going for perfection, I didn't use any staples (and was too cheap to buy a staple gun).

Ryan I used 3/4 in. MDF on all sides and add an extra 1/2 in on top of that to make the subs flush.

Thanks everybody. Just so everybody knows, I'm looking to carpet the shelf that my subs sits in in the back of my S-10. My wife drives the Contour, although, I do play with it.

Give me a break. I talk on the S-10 site about my contour, and I talk here about my S-10. All I can tell you is this. My S-10 has nothing on my contour, and the stereo will be moved into my CONTOUR SVT once I find one to purchase.
Later.
