i was told this box was part of the cars computer by the dealer. it doesn't really look like and amp and when i asked about some sort of factory amp in contours/mystiques none of the stereo shops had heard of it.
how accessable is it after taking out the glovebox? the box i'm seeing isn't easy to get at. anyone got a pic that may help.
how much power does the fac amp rob??
That doesn't sound like the factory amp. It's easy to get to and remove, 3 bolts if I remember correctly. It's not tucked behind anything either.
