Don't mind those other guys. You did get some good info though, coils, caps and all that work well to cut bass. Crutchfield sales em cheap. As far as the Farting noise, I had the same thing. Beneath the carpet on the sides of the trunk, near the rear, are these vents for...ok, no one has been clear ast what they are actually for... but they do sound like a big whoopee cusion. I got flamed when I posted the same question, and I had searched! One ASS told me I should have posted in the 'Off Topic' forum. Talk about get a clue! Anyhow, tape em up with duct tape, seal em with fiberglass or whatever you want but to stop that you have to block them. BTW, they were also the culprit to my leaking trunk. One wasn't in all the way and water would just roll right in. Took it to the dealer, before I knew what the problem was, and they replaced the trunk gasket and the cardboard/carpet spare cover.
Jocatz, I believe that I answered NITROS' question and just requested that he have a little tact, instead of starting out his e-mail with "first of all fak all of you!". He basically directly asked to be flamed by anyone reading his post.
Now as far as the flaps in the trunk go, they are vents to relieve the air pressure in the trunk when you are closing it. Without it, you would have to slam the trunk fairly hard to close it. If you do not experience this problem, it is probably because even with the tape, it allows it to flex. If you trunk was completely sealed, it would be more difficult to close.
