I would stick with the stock one.

As for the other suggestions. I will also be doing all of these as soon as we get my wife's truck up and running. We are changeing the clutch out and after we got everything out, we found out we was gonna need a flywheel also. I've got all sorts of painting projects going on with it as well. So! Just as soon as I can get all that taken care of, I will be flushing the system and playing around with the themostat as well. Just to see what I can get out of it.
