Well it happened last week. My front drivers side brake caliper froze shut and practically destroyed the rotor. I tried to fix it and get it working properly again, but it still freezes from time to time. I'd like to use this as an excuse to get all new calipers, but ever kit I see for the contour is only selling front brake sets. I want at least two piston calipers this time, but don't want to speed an insane amout on a set. Any suggestions? I'll need new rotors too... so keep that in mind when making your decisions.

You'll only need the fronts as they do a HUGE portion the braking work. You could try for SVT stuff, or the Wilwoods from BAT......

Just upgrade the fronts to SVT and if you have read disks leave them. The SVT's on my 95 SE are great, as long as you have a good pad on them. Do not get Mintex Race pads, they ate my rotors. I had rotors from BAT, the Euro "blanks". The pads don't even last a season of Auto-x!

my calipers seized???? make sure its not the hose collapsing inside causing the caliper to lockup do to the pressure of the fluid being caught by a hose that collapsed... hope this helps.
